Alene Paulk Guest Judges Food Network’s Buddy vs. Duff Season 3 Premiere

• The third season of Buddy vs. Duff will premiere on Sunday, July 18 at 9 p.m. ET on Food Network and discovery+

Georgia, 16 July 2021, ZEXPRWIRE, On Sunday, July 18 at 9 p.m. ET, Buddy Valastro and Duff Goldman will kick off season 3 of Buddy vs. Duff on Food Network and discovery+. This episode is being considered the “ultimate baking brawl” and will feature Atlanta’s very own celebrity cake artist Alene Paulk as a judge of these two well-known famed bakers.

When asked about her experience on the show Alene stated, “It was a honor to be recognized for my cake artistry and be asked to judge two of the best sculpted cake artists in the country on Buddy Vs. Duff.  Because the judging panel consisted exclusively of cake artists, Buddy and Duff’s teams really responded to our critiques and appreciated our feedback. I think speaking with other artists who have the technical aptitude to credibly assess your work makes their comments resonate more than someone who doesn’t have that shared experience. With Covid-19, the networks wanted to ensure that all cake artists and participants were safe, so they brought on 50 of the best professional cake artists from across the country to judge the designs virtually to help select the winner. While Duff won season one, Buddy was the winner of season two, and as season three kicks off, we can’t wait to see who takes home the crown.

An eight-week competition of larger-than-life confections will take place in New Jersey and Los Angeles, California. The bakers will work with a team of cake artists and compete to see who will build the most elaborate and enormous cake based on the episode’s theme.
